As we close out 2025 and look ahead to the start of 2026, we want to wish you a new year filled with health and strong results.

We know the past period has been challenging for the logistics industry. While not all carriers will apply rate increases, rising costs across multiple inputs have put pressure on shipping costs. In this context, at WeShip we remain focused on providing you with tools that help you make better decisions and reduce that impact on your day-to-day operations.

Looking ahead to 2026, some carriers have announced rate adjustments, while others will keep their prices unchanged. In general, FedEx will apply zone-based adjustments to domestic and international services, with increases ranging approximately from 2% to 12%, depending on origin and destination. DHL will apply increases of 4.9% for domestic and 5.9% for international shipments; UPS will adjust 5.9% domestically and 5.5% internationally; Paquetexpress will increase rates by 10%; AMPM by 6%, and Estafeta by 8%. AFIMEX and 99 Minutos have not announced any changes to their rates.

These adjustments are mainly driven by higher operating costs across the transportation sector. According to data from Canacar, INEGI, and Banxico, increases have been recorded of 13.58% in engines, 6.86% in diesel, 15.34% in engine parts, 7.84% in vehicle bodies, and 6.47% in tolls. In addition, the National Consumer Price Index increased by 3.84%, the minimum wage will rise by 13% in 2026, and inflation is projected to range between 3.7% and 4.5%.

At WeShip, we are focused on reducing the impact of these changes through a multi-carrier operation that allows you to compare options and consistently choose the best alternative by zone, price, and performance. No action is required on your part at this time; any adjustments will be reflected directly in the platform, and our team is available if you would like to review optimization opportunities.

Thank you for your continued trust. We remain at your disposal.
