Now, with a new feature inside WeShip, you can take advantage of these opportunities through Last-Minute Rates.
This new option allows you to request preferential rates for heavy international shipments with DHL and FedEx, with discounts of up to 75% off published rates, subject to available capacity.
When an airline or carrier has available space on an upcoming flight, that space may be offered under special conditions.
From your WeShip portal, you can now:
- Quote your international shipment as usual
- Select the Last-Minute Rate option
- Receive a personalized quote via chat in approximately 30 business minutes
- International shipments over 20 kg (46 lbs)
- Rate valid for 1 day
- International shipments over 50 kg (110 lbs)
- Rate valid for 7 days
For businesses that frequently ship internationally or move high volumes, this feature represents an opportunity to reduce shipping costs without changing their existing operations.
