WeShip, a Mexican digital logistics and shipping-aggregation platform focused on centralizing and automating parcel services, is betting on Artificial Intelligence assistants to eliminate downtime and bottlenecks in the operations of companies such as Shasa, Sally Beauty, Costco, Hunter, Tienda Dondé and EMMSA.
Adrián Galán, the firm's director and co-founder, explained that the goal is to streamline distribution flows through advanced process digitalization.
The Mexican startup, founded in 2021, recently launched its LIA agent (Logistics Intelligent Assistant), a new layer of artificial intelligence built into its platform that lets users interact directly with logistics operations through natural language.
This shift transforms how the software is used: instead of navigating multiple modules, users can complete tasks in a single interaction, reducing operational friction and accelerating decision-making.
Unlike traditional solutions, the executive noted, these agents act as digital operators designed to carry out tasks such as quoting shipments, comparing options, generating reports, providing tracking and responding to requests in real time.
